Who We Are

Afternoon is me, Cam Attwood.

I like making things people enjoy.

That might be a brand, a website, a t-shirt, a label on a bottle, a knife company, or some random idea that started over a few beers at 11pm. If it's something people can connect with, I'm interested.

I started Afternoon because I love the process of creating. Taking an idea that only exists in someone's head and turning it into something real. Something with personality. Something that people remember because they genuinely enjoyed interacting with it.

Over the years I've been lucky enough to work with all sorts of businesses, from local startups through to established brands. Along the way I've learnt that the best projects usually have one thing in common. Passionate people behind them.

That's why I like to start every project the same way. Sit down, grab a coffee, and have a yarn. I want to know what you're building, why you're building it, and what gets you excited about it in the first place.

Afternoon is a small independent studio based in Mount Maunganui, but I work alongside a talented bunch of photographers, videographers, copywriters, marketers, developers, and other creative folk when projects need it.

At the end of the day, I'm not trying to build the biggest agency in New Zealand.

I just enjoy helping good people make cool things.
